For more than 12 years I’ve been photographing weddings. I’ve captured weddings in modestly priced banquet halls all the way up to luxury wedding venues. I’ve photographed DIY wedding decor to lavishly designed events. I’ve captured weddings with only 2 guests up to weddings with more than 600 guests. I’ve photographed in dark gothic churches, dimly lit nighttime receptions, sunny outdoor ceremonies and weddings bathed in candlelit. I’ve photographed in rain, snow, scorching sun and in sub-zero temperatures. I’ve captured weddings in the remote desert of northern Nevada to the sandy beaches of south Florida. I’ve photographed weddings aboard small 6 passenger boats and large luxury yachts that hold thousands. I’ve worked with many of the top wedding planners in the world while also helping brides plan their intimate elopements. These opportunities have provided me the experience to become a well-rounded photographer capable to capturing weddings of any size, in any venue, in any climate and in any lighting conditions without trepidation or hesitation. I began my career as a wedding photographer working for several commercial wedding photography studios capturing upwards of 50 weddings per year. Opportunely, I made all my mistakes working for these big commercial chain studios before ever risking my own client’s memories. I’ve captured nearly 600 weddings around the world and have been named one of the top wedding photographers in Chicago by numerous websites, publications and professional organizations.
