Engagement Sessions

Photographing an Engagement Session is one of my favorite opportunities to connect with couples.

We meet moments before the sun crests the horizon. This is an incredible time to be in Chicago! The city feels like it’s only you and your love awake at that hour. Standing on the shores of a city of nearly 3 million people and listening to the waves roll in while watching the first rays of sun bounce off the gleaming skyline is an incredibly special sensation.

Sunrise engagement sessions in Chicago and sunset engagement sessions in the suburbs work the best. The sun sets behind the Chicago skyline and I find that many of the most requested locations are often along Chicago’s lakefront so I recommend if you’re considering an Engagement Session in Chicago that we plan to capture a sunrise session. Sunrise sessions afford you the opportunity to easily travel to and park at various locations and helps limit the amount of people in the background of your photos.
