It’s my honor once again to present this year’s collection featuring the Best Wedding Photography, Engagement Sessions, Event Photography, Family Portraits and Marriage Proposals of 2019!
2019 was my busiest year ever over the past 15 years! I traveled to 6 states and the Caribbean island nation of Jamaica photographing 21 Weddings, 19 Family Sessions, 16 Engagement Sessions, 13 Proposals, 6 Executive Portraits, 4 Special Events, and 1 Holiday Party for a total of 68 clients!

I photographed my former wedding client Petros Papantoniou and his family for the cover of Estiator Magazine – The National Magazine of the Greek American Food Industry.
The Papantoniou Family founded the $30 Million Dollar Gyro empire, Olympia Foods.
Scott pulled off his proposal in a center of candles arranged to create a heart beneath the Chicago skyline at North Avenue Beach
Lindsey & Jon’s rehearsal dinner at the Kaya Heb House in Drax Hall, St Ann Jamaica. Kaya became the country’s very first legal cannabis dispensary.
Lindsey & Jon were married at the Firefly Estate which was home of British playwright, artist, actor and musician, Sir Noël Coward.

Hayley & David commissioned me to capture their 1st Year Wedding Anniversary photos while visiting Chicago from their home in Hawaii.
Erin and Mike were blessed with incredible sunlight and gorgeous weather during their June 1st sunrise engagement session in Chicago

Daniel planned the perfect proposal at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool in Lincoln Park but unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans.
June was a big month for Proposals. I captured 5 proposals within 4 weeks including this one at the North Pond Restaurant in Chicago
Jack planned the perfect sunrise proposal but cloud cover obscured the Chicago skyline. Fortunately the sun came out and we captured portraits (below) of the couple at the South Pond Nature Pavilion afterwards.
Christina and Jerry chose to host their ceremony and reception at Elske Restaurant in Chicago’s hot West Loop which seemed entirely appropriate as Elske means “love” in Danish. The Michelin Star restaurant was named #2 Best New Restaurant in America in 2017 by Bon Appétit. The couple planned their wedding day from New Jersey where the two currently live.
I love the perspective on this pose captured in Lurie Garden, a 2.5-acre garden located at the southern end of Millennium Park in the Loop area of Chicago.
The Board of Trade is always a staple in locations to capture wedding portraits in Chicago
The LondonHouse Cupola, located 23 stories above street level at the LondonHouse Hotel in Chicago, can be rented for $1,000 for a marriage proposal. The rental price includes a private VIP elevator escort to the top, a bottle of Dom Perignon and a discount on a wedding, should the couple choose to celebrate nuptials at London House.

2019 was the year of “the show must go on” proposals. Scott did his best to stay dry while popping the question at the Garden of the Phoenix in Jackson Park.
This was the second wedding I’ve captured for the Unterberg family at St Isaac Jogues in Hinsdale and the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort.

I photographed Bridget & Scott’s wedding 12 years ago in 2008 and continue to photograph the couple and their son Colin every year.
I laugh looking at this photo because it’s one of those cheesy photos I would normally never pose but I love this family cause they’re always up for anything – even ridiculous photos like this!
