The Ivy Room has been on my bucket list to photograph a wedding at ever since I began my career over a decade ago and that was just one reason why I was so excited to capture Molly & Daniel’s Spring wedding their this Memorial Day weekend. Another great reason I loved capturing Daniel and Molly’s wedding was the couple was also fortunately recommended to me by one of my all-time favorite couples, Lauren and Adam, who were also in attendance. It’s always so great to catch up with them!

Molly & Daniel got ready at the W Lakeshore Hotel where the couple also shared their First Look. From there we shot across Lake Shore Drive and into Olive Park where I had an opportunity to photograph the couple alone and create portraits of the two gazing across Lake Michigan back at the John Hancock and Chicago Skyline.

We arrived at the Ivy Room early for wedding party and family portraits in the venue’s lush courtyard. We couldn’t have been gifted better weather and the lush green ivy that spans the downtown Chicago courtyard couldn’t have looked more vibrant.

Following our family portraits Daniel joined his family and friends for his tish. Soon the couple rejoined to sign their ketubah signifying the traditional Jewish marriage contract between them.

Just before sunset the couple wed beneath their chuppah which accented the lush green ivy-covered courtyard.

Following cocktails in the courtyard and reception speeches by family and friends, David Rothstein kept the party rocking all night long.

Here’s a few of my favorite photos from throughout the wedding day. I hope you love them as much as I loved capturing them!
