FROM THE CITY BY THE BAY TO THE WINDY CITY

I can’t think of a better day to reveal Maureen & Andrew’s wedding photos than today on Thanksgiving as Andrew surprised Maureen on Thanksgiving 2018 by shaving the beard he has had since he was 19 years old (Maureen had been dying to see what he looked like clean-shaven under all that hair) and popping the question in Bodega Bay, California. The two met on a blind date in San Francisco that one of Andrew’s groomsmen set the couple up on.

I met Maureen and Andrew in March and was so fortunate to travel to San Francisco, where the couple live, to photograph their engagement session in June.

Maureen says that “besides making a lifelong commitment to each other, we were most looking forward to celebrating with all of our family and friends in one place.” Maureen’s mom, Therese,  helped the couple plan their entire day while they were 2,000 miles away which included helping to find their reception venue and some vendors. One of those vendors was Maureen’s pick for one of the funnest things to take place at her wedding. “We really enjoyed listening to Talk of the Town Big Band while dancing the night away on a packed dance floor with our family and friends”.
