Mary & Meena

I love photographing Engagement Sessions in Chicago at sunrise. The city is your own: You can park practically anywhere you want, nobody is out on the streets and the sunlight is radiant.
Mary & Meena have waited a few weeks to have their session captured. We’d original planned to take photos during the weekend of the NATO protests but due to street closures and uncertainty among demonstrators we thankfully opted to reschedule.
This morning was beautiful! Temperatures were in the mid 60’s, sunlight bouncing off the skyscrapers and nothing but the faint rattle of “L” trains passing in the distance.
We visited the Adler Planetarium which dots Chicago’s museum campus along the lakefront, downtown’s Dearborn and Kinzie Street Bridge, along with some of my favorite spots on the city’s west side Fulton Market district which features the prominent street art of famed British graffiti artist, Banksy.
Thanks Meena & Mary for waking up to an early morning alarm to capture these amazing pictures with me!
